coconut oil: Less Brain fog, more creativity

April 15, 2014

In the past week, i have started taking coconut oil again, virgin unrefined. A tablespoon in the morning with my oatmeal, sometimes a small amount with my nighttime oatmeal.

I have less brain fog, more creativity, and more concentration. I am wanting to sculpt again, but i have 3 blankets to crochet and I must get them done.

My brain feels a bit different. more clear than usual.

Learning is sometimes scary

February 8, 2014

I am learning a new crochet stitch called the Catherine wheel. It scares me but i am doing it anyway. It’s a series of 4 rows of like shells but it makes an awesome design when completed. I just finished row 1 of this stitch, and will be moving onto row 2 tonight.

Crocheting and Callie

February 7, 2014

I have a 9 month old kitten named Callie, who is not cuddly at all UNTIL I go to sit down to crochet, or I get out clay to try and sculpt or I sit down to work on baby clothes, then she’s the most cuddly cat ever, with limitations..  she does not allow me to cuddle and hold her.. it’s a 1 way relationship with this cuddling thing. I try and accept it.

But I want to work on the blankets tonight and she wants to sit on my lap. If I ask her to move, she fights back and has an attitude. What Callie wants, Callie will make sure she gets it.

January 7, 2014

This baby is the only baby I made in 2013. I made her as a gift for someone. I hope to make many more this year.
